Difference for IPM module and IGBT module:

IGBT Module:the package of IGBT module that integrates multiple IGBT packaged together.

IPM Module:it is intelligent power module,integrated gate drive and numerous protection functions(over temperature ,over voltage,over current ,under voltage protection ,etc)of the IGBT module.

So IPM module is better than IGBT module.
